Workshop: ‘Aesthetics: Form, Content, Theme’

The interdisciplinary workshop “Aesthetics: Form, Content, Theme” explored aesthetic themes from various perspectives within the humanities. The keynote speakers, Julian Johnson (University of London) and Iris Dankemeyer (Hamburg University of Applied Sciences), gave presentations on aesthetic experience and its relationship to philosophical questions, as well as on acoustic perception. Eight speakers from the University of Graz, alongside international visiting scholars, explored various topics and approaches to questions of aesthetics from different perspectives within the humanities.
