Each of us perceives the world a little differently. This is because our perception is shaped by a variety of perspectives and assumptions - be it through individual experiences, the influence of our background and living environment, professional interests or culturally influenced patterns of perception. We can therefore speak of my world, your world and our world.
In our public lecture series, we would like to examine the phenomenon of multi-perspectivity from various perspectives in the humanities for those interested (even) without any previous knowledge of the subject. The focus is on how perception influences our interpretation of the world and our present, how it shapes it in the long term, but can also change it.
